Romania Hub: High Power, Green Energy, and European Scale

Hellonext strengthens its presence in Eastern Europe with a new charging hub in Romania, developed by Nova Power & Gas and equipped with Hellonext chargers.

This project represents more than a new installation: it is a clear example of how infrastructure, renewable energy, and high-power charging can work together.

Charging powered by 100% renewable energy

A 20MW photovoltaic park was built next to the hub, allowing the chargers to be supplied with 100% green energy. This is a concrete step toward truly sustainable electric mobility, where the origin of the energy is just as important as charging speed.

The project

Located in Cluj, one of Romania’s main technology hubs, this installation reinforces the region’s role in the development of electric mobility in Eastern Europe.

H2 240-480

This project represents another excellent example of a large charging hub built with Hellonext chargers, including a European installation of the H2 240-480, our high-power charger engineered to address both current and future market demands. Reflecting Hellonext’s experience and technical and industrial capabilities, enabling us to deliver projects with higher power and larger scale.

Our footprint

The Romania hub is another step in consolidating Hellonext’s European footprint, demonstrating our ability to deliver robust, sustainable solutions aligned with the real needs of operators.

When people talk about Hellonext, many immediately associate us with 60–180 kW chargers, and rightly so. They have been our “best-sellers”, widely recognized for their reliability and performance.

But reality goes far beyond that. Hellonext offers a wide range of charging solutions, such as the H2 240–480 which elevates Hellonext to a major player in the Hub segment too.

High power, fast charging, and green energy, this is how we continue to build the future of sustainable electric mobility.
